Eagle 822 Farmer Rod - It Welds By Itself!

Eagle 822 Farmer Rod - It Welds By Itself!

Some rods can be described as 'Easy to Weld' with, but the Farmer Rod takes it the final step and will weld on its own. Watch this video as founder and CEO Don Tansem demonstrates the easy re-strike and 'self-welding' Eagle 822, the Farmer Rod.

Eagle 822, the Farmer Rod, is a superior all position low alloy electrode for maintenance that works exceptionally well downhand.

It's a general purpose electrode for the fabrication of thin to heavy gauge mild steel. The outstanding restarting characteristics on either AC or DC machines allow this electrode to be used for tracking purposes.

Use DC Straight [–] Polarity. For best results, we recommend you clean the weld areas with a grinder and groove out the cracks using the EAGLE 188 gouging rod. Employ a medium arc length to produce spatter-free welds.
