Eagle 822, the Farmer Rod, is a superior all position low alloy electrode for maintenance that works exceptionally well down hand.
It's a general purpose electrode for fabrication of thin to heavy gauge mild steel. The outstanding restarting characteristics, on either AC or DC machines, allows this electrode to be used for tracking purposes.
Use DC Straight [–] Polarity. For best results, we recommend you clean the weld areas with a grinder and groove out the cracks using the EAGLE 188 gouging rod. Employ a medium arc length to produce spatter free welds.
