Low fuming, high strength alloy used for brazing and overlaying on carbon steels, cast iron, bronzes and brass.
Build up on gear teeth, bearings, shafts, pistons and valve seats.

Clean rust, dirt and grease from the parent metal. Use a neutral flame, pre-heat the general area and then heat the joint area. When metal is a dull red, melt a drop of alloy off the end of the rod and allow it to flow out, keeping the torch in a constant motion. Multiple passes can he made without removing the flux.

The EAGLE 1880 FC is a low fuming, flux coated, high strength brazing alloy.

Tensile Strength: Approx. 63,000 – 65,000 psi
