AC or DC Straight [–] Polarity

Clean the weld area thoroughly and remove rust, scale, paint, grease and contaminants. Where required, groove out cracks or defects before welding; Eagle 188 airless gouging electrodes are an excellent option for repair preparation.
Maintain a medium arc length while welding. Use the lowest effective amperage suitable for the electrode diameter and application.
