Designed for applications requiring higher strength than conventional soldering alloys while maintaining a clean appearance.

Clean all oxides and contaminants from the parent metal.
Apply Eagle 96 flux to the joint area.

Place the Eagle 500ST strip silver in the area to be brazed.
Using a slightly carburizing flame, heat the joint area to approximately 800°F / 420°C until the silver begins to flow.

Allow the workpiece to cool before removing the remaining flux residue.

Eagle 500ST is a low-temperature, cadmium-free silver brazing strip offering an excellent colour match on stainless steel.

Its strip configuration allows the filler alloy to be placed directly into or around a joint before brazing, providing excellent control over filler-metal placement.
