Economical Flux-Coated Silver Solder for General Repair and Uneven Joint Clearances

Eagle 300 FC is a flexible, flux-coated silver solder designed for general repair and brazing of brass, copper, stainless steel and alloy steel.

Its broad melting range makes it especially useful where joint fit-up or clearances are not perfectly uniform, helping the alloy flow and fill more forgivingly during repair work.

Because the flux is already coated on the rod, Eagle 300 FC is convenient to use for maintenance, fabrication and field repair applications.

Flexible. Economical. Easy to Use.

Eagle 300 FC is recommended for:

Brass
Copper
Stainless steel
Alloy steel
General repair work
Maintenance brazing
Fabrication
Joints with uneven or inconsistent clearances
Repair applications where a free-flowing silver solder is preferred

Designed for jobs where good flow and tolerance for imperfect joint fit-up are important.

Clean oxides and contaminants from the parent metal.

Use a slightly carburizing flame.

Preheat the workpiece to approximately 350°F / 200°C, then bring the joint area to approximately 800°F / 420°C.

Melt a small amount of flux from the end of the rod and allow it to flow through the joint area.

Then add Eagle 300 FC alloy as required.

Allow the workpiece to cool before removing remaining flux residue.

Eagle 300 FC is an economical, free-flowing, flux-coated flexible silver solder designed for general repair work.

Its broad melting range makes it a good choice where joint gaps are not completely uniform, while the built-in flux coating simplifies application.

Why Eagle 300 FC?

Flux coated — convenient for repair work without separate flux application.

Broad melting range — useful where joint clearances vary.

Flexible alloy — well suited for repair and maintenance work.

Versatile material compatibility — suitable for brass, copper, stainless steel and alloy steel.
