Advantages of Battery-Powered Welders

1.    Portability: Battery-powered welders excel in portability, allowing welders to work in remote or hard-to-reach locations where power outlets aren't available. This is especially useful for construction sites, outdoor repairs, and emergency situations.

2.    Convenience: Without cords to manage, battery-powered welders offer greater flexibility and maneuverability around the work area. This can significantly enhance productivity and efficiency.

3.    Reduced Setup Time: The absence of a need to connect to a power source means quicker setup times. Welders can start their work faster, saving both time and effort.

4.    Versatility: These welders are often more versatile, capable of working on various materials and in different positions. This adaptability makes them suitable for a wide range of welding tasks and applications.

5.    Safety: Eliminating cords reduces the risk of tripping and accidental damage. This enhances workplace safety and minimizes the potential for accidents.

6.    Energy Efficiency: Battery-powered welders, particularly those with inverter technology, tend to be more energy-efficient than traditional models. This results in lower energy consumption and potential cost savings over time.

7.    Ease of Storage: Generally more compact than corded models, battery-powered welders are easier to store. This is beneficial for workshops with limited space or for those who frequently transport their equipment.

8.    Less Noise and Vibration: These welders typically produce less noise and vibration during operation, contributing to a more comfortable working environment for both the welder and those nearby.

Overall, battery-powered inverter welders provide increased flexibility, convenience, and efficiency, making them a valuable tool for both professional welders and hobbyists.

Battery Power System: Choosing CATL for Superior Performance

For the internal lithium battery cells in our welders, we have partnered with CATL, a leader in the battery industry. CATL’s cells are widely used in the automotive sector, with major customers including renowned brands like BMW, Volkswagen, Toyota, and Audi. After evaluating various suppliers, we found that CATL’s battery cells offer the best performance and reliability for our welders. The quality and efficiency of CATL batteries are crucial for ensuring optimal power system performance in our welding equipment.

Certification
Both models (EA 2311 and EA 8541) are CE Certified.

Hot Start Control
Depending on what type of electrode you are using, the hot start control will help you dial in your starts and re-strikes with a push of energy at the start of each weld.

Arc Force Control
If you are needing some heavier penetration, you can adjust a stronger arc force if needed.

Quick Charging
Equipped with a high efficiency battery charger, the charging time is between 2 - 2.5 hours for the smaller unit and 3 - 3.5 for the larger machine. It isn’t recommended to weld while the unit is charging as you run the risk of over heating.

Warranty
There is a 12 month warranty period in which if the unit stops working or encounters problems, we will look after the repairs or swap out for a new unit.
