The EAGLE 634 electrodes are designed as an economical hardfacing electrode for hard overlays on bucket teeth, buckets, bucket lips, corner bits, dredge pump impellers, grapples mixer paddles, ripper teeth, screw conveyors, compactors, mill hammers, sides of scrapers and mining equipment.
Use AC or DC Reverse [+] Polarity. Use the grinding method or remove fatigued metal using the EAGLE 188. Use lowest effective amperage while maintaining a medium arc length making either stringer beads or weave beads with a maximum of two layers of weld deposit.
The EAGLE 634 is a High Chromium Carbide Electrode for hardfacing equipment, components subjected to high abrasion. The metal recovery is 160% with a very high deposition rate.
