APPLICATIONS APPLICATIONS

Developed for build-up and underlay on low, medium and high carbon steels. Can be used for rebuilding hard bars, idlers, sprockets, rollers, rail ends, ditcher segments and ditcher rails.

PROCEDURE PROCEDURE

Use AC or DC Reverse [+] Polarity. Use the grinding method or remove fatigued metal using the EAGLE 188. Use lowest effective amperage while maintaining a medium arc length making either stringer beads or weave beads.

The EAGLE 603 is an all position build-up electrode that is machinable and can be used as an underlay for hardfacing. Deposits can be forged and flame out.
